Cornelius Weitzmann
Member of the Corporate Board of Management,
President & CEO Group Division Turbo
Cornelius Weitzmann studied industrial engineering at Karlsruhe in Germany and Seville in Spain. He then worked as a project leader and member of the management for a well-known German management consultancy firm from 2002 onwards.
In 2007, Weitzmann moved to Voith, where he took up a management position in strategic planning. 2009, he became Managing director at Voith Paper Inc. in Appleton, USA and in 2011, he was appointed President of Fabric & Roll Systems EMEA.
As a member of the Management Board of Voith Turbo, Cornelius Weitzmann was responsible for the Power, Oil & Gas Division from April 2015, before taking over as Head of the Division Mobility in June 2016.
Since June 1, 2021 Cornelius Weitzmann is a member of the Corporate Board of Management and President & CEO of Voith Turbo.
Alexandre Riesterer
CFO Group Division Turbo
Alexandre Riesterer studied Commercial Sciences at the HEC Management School of the University of Liège/Belgium. After graduating with a degree in business administration in 1993, he began his career as a financial analyst at Aachener und Münchener Immobilien GmbH in Aachen.
From 1998 to 2010, he held various positions at Robert Bosch. Initially as Financial Controller and Assistant to the CEO at the Belgian headquarters in Brussels; from 2003 to 2006 as Manager Finance & Controlling at the Division Power Tools in Leinfelden; from 2006 to 2009 as Head of Department Finance & Controlling in Saitama/Japan.
In 2010, he became President and Managing Director of Robert Bosch Automotive Technologies in Rayong/Thailand and joined the Chassis System Control Division in Abstatt as Global CFO / Senior Vice President Finance & Controlling in 2014. Most recently, from 2018 to 2020, he was CFO / Executive Vice President & Administration responsible for Finance, Logistics/Indirect Purchasing, HR/IT and Audits/Data Security/Compliance at Bosch Corp. in Tokyo/Japan.
In 2020, he moved to Faurecia Clarion Electronics Co. in Japan as Global CFO and was responsible for the markets US, Europe, India, Thailand, China and Japan.
Since January 2024, he has been a member of the Board of Management of Voith Turbo and responsible for Finance and Controlling.
Dr. Gregor Wiche
CEO Division Commercial Vehicles
Dr. Gregor Wiche studied Microsystemtechnology at the University of Freiburg, Germany and at the Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, USA. He also holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the TU Berlin and a business degree from the FernUniversity in Hagen. He started his career at an international consulting firm where he focused mainly on operations topics such as manufacturing and supply chain management across different industries.
In 2011, Gregor Wiche joined Voith Paper in Heidenheim as project leader for the restructuring of the Group Division. In 2013 he joined the management team of the Products & Services Division where he was responsible for Global Operations and after 2015 for the region Asia Pacific, being located in Shanghai.
As of May 2019 Dr. Wiche switched to Voith Turbo taking responsibility of Asia Pacific for the Division Mobility. He relocated back to Germany in 2021 and took charge of Global Product and Key Account Management.
Dr. Gregor Wiche has been a member of the Management Board of Voith Turbo since September 2021. Initially as CTO and Head of Product & Production Technology. Since January 2024, he is CEO of the Commercial Vehicles Division.
Dr. Ralf Geßlein
CEO Division Industry
Dr. Ralf Geßlein studied electrical engineering (specializing in power engineering) at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich and received his doctorate in control engineering.
From 2005, he worked for Siemens in various functions, including Vice President Product Management Large Drives Industry, Senior Vice President Drive Systems and Executive Vice President Oil & Gas and Process Industries.
Most recently, as CEO, he was responsible for Siemens' global wind generator business, which he integrated into the Flender Group in 2020 and successfully continued.
He has been a member of the Management Board of Voith Turbo since May 2022 and heads the Industry Division.
Martin Wawra
CEO Division Rail & Marine
Martin Wawra joined the Voith Group in 1994 as an international sales engineer after studying mechanical engineering at the University of Stuttgart.
From 2001, he was Managing Director of Voith Turbo Scharfenberg GmbH & Co. KG in Salzgitter and has been part of the Voith Turbo management team.
Since 2011, he was responsible in various management positions for the successful development of production and construction in China along important growth projects. He also headed sales for the Mobility Division throughout Asia.
Martin Wawra has been a member of the Management Board of Voith Turbo since June 2021. Until 2023 he was responsible for the Mobility Division and since January 2024 he is CEO for the Marine & Rail Division.
Dr. Marcus Fischer
CEO Division Off-Highway
Dr. Marcus Fischer studied Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Aachen (RWTH Aachen) and the University of Dortmund.
Before joining ARGO-HYTOS, Marcus Fischer was Head of Engineering at Weber-Hydraulik GmbH, where he was responsible for design, development and advanced engineering. After around 5 years in this position, he moved to ARGO-HYTOS.
Dr. Marcus Fischer has been with ARGO-HYTOS for 17 years. He started as Head of Engineering in 2007, and in 2010 he joined the management of ARGO-HYTOS GmbH in Kraichtal and simultaneously took on the role of Group CTO. At the beginning of 2016, his path led him to the ARGO-HYTOS Group, where he still holds the position of COO for the entire Group.
Since June 2024, Dr. Marcus Fischer has been a member of the Board of Management of Voith Turbo and was appointed CEO of the ARGO-HYTOS Group. He will fulfil the COO position in a dual role until further notice.
