Dual Studies with Voith - the Company Welcomes 40 New Students

Heidenheim. On Monday, Voith welcomed a total of 40 young men and women who are starting a dual study course. Due to the double intake of high school leavers, the Voith location in Heidenheim is able to offer more young people a dual study course than in previous years (2011: 25). During an induction week, the new Voithians will initially get to know the company. Through lectures, training sessions and discussions with students from recent courses, the new students will gain a first impression.
The newcomers are distributed over different study paths, such as industrial business administration, business informatics, mechanical engineering, information technology, electrical and automotive engineering and industrial engineering. Depending on their modules, the will spend the theoretical part of their studies at DHWB Heidenheim (Heidenheim Dual University), Ulm University and the commercial and technical vocational schools in the area.

Voith can look back on more than 30 years of successful cooperation with dual universities. Experienced training officers in the company can thus accompany and support the students in their professional and personal de-velopment.
