50 Years DIW: Process-oriented Industrial Services Specialist

Stuttgart, November 19, 2012 – DIW, a subsidiary of Voith Industrial Services, celebrated its 50-year anniversary in the autumn of 2012. The company provides extensive services for operating and managing sites and for technical systems. DIW combines technical services for buildings and production facilities – exactly tailored to meet the individual requirements of customers in the most varied industries.
Emerging from the Kesselreinigungsgesellschaft Reichenberger & Co founded in 1962, DIW has developed into a strong and well-known partner for industry, currently with more than 5,000 employees. The service portfolio has been continuously expanded. Approaching customers with new ideas – that’s what characterizes DIW. For example its activities were extended to the business area of LED light management in spring 2012.

For Voith, the acquisition of DIW was its entry into the industrial services business and in 2000 formed the cornerstone of the Voith Industrial Services group division.

There are only a few companies that can make such a claim,” says Thorsten Eck, Chairman of the Management Board at DIW. “Regardless of what the task is – with our varied expertise and new solutions, we see to it that our customers’ processes run smoothly in the future as well.”
