Voith Industrial Services awarded new Maintenance and Modification Framework Contract by Statoil Mongstad in Norway

Statoil Petroleum AS and Voith Industrial Services AS have yesterday signed a new framework agreement for the provision of maintenance and modification services for the engineering, instrumentation, electrical and mechanical areas at the Statoil refinery at Mongstad, Norway.

The contract is due to start on 1 January 2014 and will run for four years with an additional stepwise two-year plus two-year renewal option. The contract is expected to provide permanent employment for around 75 people and has an estimated value of approx. EUR 100 million.

Voith Industrial Services is thankful for the opportunity to expand and develop its service portfolio for the supply of mechanical and engineering services to the Norwegian oil and gas industry. Electrical and instrumentation maintenance at the Statoil refinery at Mongstad has been a part of Voith‘s operations in Norway since 2006.
