With the CONUSTRENNER Pilot Plant, the operating behavior of a large facility for fiber recovery can be tested. The compact spray filter unit offers high reliability and performance.
The CONUSTRENNER has a specially designed conical screen basket that consists of multi-layer stainless steel screens, enabling the separation of fibers in a targeted fashion. The mesh size of the screens can be adapted to the respective application, which is why the CONUSTRENNER is also suitable for fine filtration (e.g., preparation of clear filtrate to become paper machine shower water) with the highest recovery rate for suspended matter. The stock consistency range extends from 0.01% to approximately 3%; mesh sizes are available between 30 and 450 µm. With possible intake streams from 500 to 30,000 l/min, the CONUSTRENNER delivers high performance with comparatively low investment and operating costs. Subsequent dilution of the fractions is not necessary, since no thickening takes place in the CONUSTRENNER. Therefore, they can be directly fed back into the process. The rugged design of the CONUSTRENNER is advantageous compared to nylon or single-layer fabrics, since the screen basket is not deformed by the intake pressure.
With the CONUSTRENNER Pilot Plant, the operating behavior of a large facility for fiber recovery or fine filtration can be tested on site under realistic conditions. It is exceptionally suited for fiber recovery, e.g., from the white water of paper machines or from fibrous filtrates of thickeners or washers.
