Focus: Electrical Measurements and Ventilation Measurements
Area of Employment

Lead and/or execute field measurements (electrical and ventilation) of hydro generators during commissioning and decommissioning phases

Writing of detailed reports from the performed measurements based on the acquired data as well as work very closely with application engineers for analysis and evaluation of the measured data
-
Troubleshooting and reporting within the commissioning responsibilities
-
Responsible to meet time schedules and quality requirements
-
Handover of equipment to customer and training of customers when applicable
Qualifications
-
Successfully graduated studies in electrical engineering (focus in electrical machines is a plus), mechatronic or comparable education as well as basic knowledge of hydro power plants operation

Several years of experience in field measurements and commissioning of electrical machines, ideally in the field of hydro power plants
-
Well-structured and organized execution of assigned tasks under challenging boundary conditions
-
Willingness for short- and long-term travelling to job sites worldwide and other operating units, open-minded, reliable, team-oriented and result-oriented personality, intercultural experiences is a plus

Fluent verbal and written English, further languages are welcome, experience with IT specially as user of CAD / CFD / FE programs is a plus

Pleasure to work with product development, site measurements, as well as team work
