Area of Employment

Lead and/or execution of commissioning of hydro turbines including related equipment, such as main inlet valve and control, bearings and turbine governor

Lead and/or execution of commissioning of related mechanical balance of plant components, such as cooling water, drainage and dewatering systems
-
Troubleshooting and reporting within the commissioning responsibilities

Responsible to meet time schedules and quality requirements

Handover of equipment to customer and training of customers

Technical project support in the headquarter in Heidenheim (Germany)
Qualifications
-
Successfully graduated studies in mechanical engineering or comparable studies and basic knowledge of technological sequences and operation of hydro power plants

Experiences in mechanical commissioning in plant engineering industry is an advantage, ideally in the field of hydro power plants

Willingness for several month of stay on our hydro power plant construction sites worldwide and for short- and long-term travelling
-
Well-structured and organized execution of assigned tasks under challenging boundary conditions

Open-minded, reliable, team-oriented and result-oriented personality, intercultural experiences beneficial
-
Fluent verbal and written English, good knowledge in Portuguese would be an advantage, further languages are welcome (i. e. Spanish, French) as well as knowledge in MS-Office-programs
