Voith’s mechanical on-site service saves time- and cost-intensive dismantling of machine parts in the paper machine. Downtimes are thus shortened.
Voith’s mechanical on-site service includes processing of journals, shafts, flanges, drying cylinders and reel drums, as well as sealing of manholes and the cover-sleeve connection (turning operation). In the area of milling, machine frames, surfaces, slots and grooves are processed.
Drilling mill work includes the mechanical service for bearing housing and turbine housing, and drilling itself includes the mechanical service for drying cylinders, reel drums, winder drum and machine frame. In addition, the mechanical on-site service also includes grooves (Venta, Chevron, spiral and radial grooving) and grinding (drying cylinders, guide rolls, reel drums and threading rings).
The mechanical on-site service is used if there are defective machine parts in the paper machine. Since repairs are implemented directly on site, time- and cost-intensive dismantling of parts is not needed.
