In the printing technology laboratory at the Heidenheim Paper Technology Center (PTC), the quality of paper can be tested with laboratory printing processes that are common in the industry.
With printing tests at the Heidenheim PTC, Voith offers its customers the opportunity to conduct independent quality comparisons and detailed analyses of the printing parameters to be considered in the field test. Together with competent partners in the printing industry, test printing processes were developed to measure the various parameters, such as missing dots, white spots, register marks and pin holes. With direct comparison of various paper machine settings and stock formulas, the printing tests are also helpful in further development of grades.
Printing tests at the Heidenheim PTC are suitable for finding the causes of quality problems, developing paper grades and establishing stock formula and paper machine settings.
