The student initiative "Bonding Stuttgart“ has organized an excursion to Voith in Heidenheim in February for students of the disciplines renewable energies, vehicle and engine technology, mechanical engineering, technical cybernetics, technology management and process technology.
An extended works tour showed the visitors which technical know-how and manual skills are required to make these sophisticated products. On the basis of models and original parts in the showroom, the guests were able to see the individual operating steps required to come up with an impressive finished product.
From Production to Optimization: In a technical lecture, the Division Operational Excellence introduced its plans, systems and methods for the optimization of production processes: anybody who puts people in focus and keeps motivating them is able to change processes.
The event finished with information on interesting traineeships and internships for all.
