Voith North America sponsors Junior Achievement Inspire Event
Voith North America was proud to serve as a gold sponsor of the 2022 Junior Achievement of South-Central Pennsylvania’s second virtual Inspire event, to help students in grades 7-12 increase their awareness of potential career paths in STEM and the trade industry.
Throughout the eight-month event, approximately 25,000 students from 58 participating school districts were given the opportunity to visit virtual career show booths from local employers, including Voith.
Students were guided by a "career cluster" assessment which helped them to determine their interests – such as the "STEM" or “manufacturing” career clusters – and find employers that may be a match for their future career ambitions. As a part of Voith’s sponsorship of this event, students were also treated to a live webinar where they received career tips from one of Voith Hydro’s team members.
