High-flyer in the stock preparation

News from the BlueLine family

2014-01-13 - The IntensaMaXX pulper detrashing machine has become the top seller only one and a half years after its launch. So far more than 40 units have been sold. Key to this success is its very good performance record for the rugged and economical IntensaMaXX.

The pulper detrashing machine has the often very difficult task in stock preparation of separating out everything that doesn’t belong in recovered paper, such as metal parts, rocks or plastic. What is needed here is a rugged technology that is also up to the decidedly harsh conditions. Those are characteristics with which the IntensaMaXX scored in practical tests from the very beginning. It has proven itself to be extremely reliable with a high throughput and a low maintenance outlay. Dr.Marietta Jass-Teichmann, Manager of the Adolf Jass paper mill, Germany, also confirms this: “In May 2013 we put the first IntensaMaXX detrashing machine into operation. Its capacity is extraordinarily good. For that reason we have also been using a second IntensaMaXX for detrashing since the beginning of August.”

With the IntensaMaXX, an excentric and asymmetrical enclosure prevents tail formation and spinning so that even a high contaminant content is unproblematic during operation. Another advantage of the IntensaMaXX is its low energy consumption. The pulper detrashing machine thus shows that it completely meets the claim of the new BlueLine portfolio to preserve resources.

BlueLine is the new product line for stock preparation from Voith Paper. It is characterized above all by its low consumption of energy, fibers and water. The IntensaPulper, the InfitraDiscfilter and the IntensaMaXX detrashing machine are already in use from the BlueLine portfolio. The next products to come onto the market are the IntegraScreen and IntegraGuard screens, the IntensaDrum pulping drum and the InfiltraScrewpress dewatering machine. //
