1 Collecting, processing and storing personal data

3 Registration for Voith's extranet

Voith's extranet provides customers and partners with a central access point for all applications and services for collaboration purposes. We offer you this service as a part of our Voith Secure Communication strategy. Access is only available to those users who have registered beforehand.

4 Use of Cookies

4.1 Definitions

Cookies are small files created automatically via your browser which are stored on your terminal device (laptop, tablet, smart phone or similar). Cookies do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malware.

Google AdWords Conversion

We use the online "Google AdWords" advertising program and the conversion tracking services provided by Google AdWords. Google Conversion Tracking is an analysis service from Google Ireland Limited ( (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland; "Google"). When you click on an advertisement placed by Google, a cookie is set on your computer for conversion tracking. These cookies expire after 30 days, they do not contain any personal data and therefore cannot be used to identify a person. If you visit certain pages on our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the website can see that you have clicked on the advertisement and proceeded to that page. Each Google AdWords customer has a different cookie. Therefore, cookies cannot be tracked using the websites of AdWords customers. Voith operates Facebook Fan Pages. Here Facebook provides us with data on user actions collated via the Insights functions, based on information such as personal data. 6 Right of data subjects

Upon request we will inform you in writing of whether we are storing any of your personal data and, if so, which data this is. 7 Storage period

The criterion for the storage of personal data is the applicable statutory retention period or the cessation of the purpose, in particular if processing is lawfully based on the balance of interests addressed by Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The data are routinely erased at the end of this period.

8 Data Security

We use the common SSL (Secure Socket Layer) procedure on our website in connection with the highest encryption level which is supported by your browser. You will recognize whether specific pages on our website are transmitted in encrypted form from the closed image of a lock or the lock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.
