Jan Sickmann set to become member of the Management Board of Voith Industrial Services

From September 1, 2013, there will be new leadership for Voith’s industrial services to the energy sector and the processing industries oil & gas, petrochemical and chemical. As a member of the Management Board of Voith Industrial Services, Jan Sickmann will head the Energy-Petro-Chemicals Division. The range of services that the Division provides over the entire life cycle of a plant includes new construction, on-site services, refurbishment, turnarounds and overhauls all the way to dismantling.
Sickmann, a 40-year-old mechanical engineer and business management specialist, began his career at Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG before joining Roland Berger as a project manager. He subsequently took on a number of leading roles in sales and customer support and design and development at Freudenberg Anlagen- und Werkzeugtechnik GmbH, where he was appointed Technical Director and Chairman of the Management Board in 2007. Most recently, Sickmann was Managing Director of AEG Power Solutions GmbH and Chief Operating Officer of the AEG Power Solutions Group, which is active in the sectors power controllers, solar inverters, monitoring systems and industrial emergency power supplies. It serves customers in the energy, process industry, oil & gas and general industrial markets. 

At Voith, Sickmann will be responsible for technical services and industrial solutions for the energy industry as well as the processing industries oil & gas, petrochemical and chemical.
