Carsten J. Reinhardt

Member of the Corporate Board of Management, Chairman of the Management Board of Voith Turbo

Carsten J. Reinhardt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Esslingen, Germany and a Master of Science degree in Automobile Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire, U.K.
Mr. Reinhardt started his professional career in 1993 in the Commercial Vehicle Division of Daimler AG in Stuttgart/Germany. Following assignments of increasing responsibility in Manufacturing Engineering at Freightliner, Reinhardt became Vice President and General Manager of Western Star Trucks in 2001. In 2003, Reinhardt was appointed President and CEO of Daimler Trucks’ North American Engine business, Detroit Diesel.

After almost 13 years at the Daimler Group, Reinhardt joined Meritor Inc. in Troy, Michigan/USA in 2006. As President and Chief Operating Officer he was responsible for the company’s global Commercial Vehicle, Industrial and Aftermarket businesses.

On July 1, 2012 Carsten J. Reinhardt joined Voith as a member of the Corporate Board of Management and Chairman of the Management Board of Voith Turbo.

Carsten J. Reinhardt (*1967) has been a member of the Management Board of Voith GmbH and Chairman of the Management Board of the Group Division Voith Turbo since July 2012.

Matthias Lindemann

Member of the Management Board of Voith Turbo, in charge of Finance, Controlling and IT

Matthias Lindemann has been a Board Member of Voith Turbo since 2006 and he is responsible for Finance, Controlling and IT.

After studying business management at Saarland University in Saarbrücken, the graduate economist started his professional career in the internal audits department of ABB in Baden, Switzerland. After an overseas appointment at ABB in Ireland he was entrusted with his first senior position at ABB Kraftwerke AG in Baden, Switzerland. From 1998 to 2002, Matthias Lindeman headed the internal audits department of ABB AG in Mannheim, responsible for Germany and Eastern Europe.

He then joined Voith Turbo in Heidenheim to take up a position as Commercial Manager of the Business Division Rail. In 2005 he took over as Commercial Manager of Voith Paper Fabrics. Since 2006, Matthias Lindemann has been a Member of the Management Board of Voith Turbo, where he is responsible for Finance, Controlling and IT.

Matthias Grawe

Member of the Management Board of Voith Turbo, in charge of the Business Division Industry

Matthias Grawe has been a Member of the Management Board of Voith Turbo since 2012, and he is responsible for the Business Division Industry.

After studying process technology and energy management at Stuttgart University in Germany and Grenoble University in France, Matthias Grawe started his professional career as a research assistant at the Fraunhofer Institute in Stuttgart and also at the local university.

After various senior positions in the project and sales departments of Nukem (Alzenau), Fichtner Beratende Ingenieure (Stuttgart) and Alstom Power Turbinen (Nuremberg) he changed to Voith Turbo in Crailsheim in 2000. He began by heading the sales department of the Product Group Variable-Speed Drives, followed by an appointment as Head of the entire Product Group. Since 2012 Matthias Grawe has been a Member of the Management Board of Voith Turbo, where he is in charge of the Business Division Industry.

Dr. Norbert Klapper

Member of the Management Board of Voith Turbo, responsible for the Business Division Rail

After studying industrial engineering at Darmstadt Technical University followed by a doctorate in 1993, he started his professional career at Arthur D. Little International, Inc. as a management consultant, moving on to become a Vice President and Head of the consultancy area 'Operations Management.' In 2000 he changed to Dürr AG in Stuttgart, where he was responsible for the business divisions 'Final Assembly Systems' and 'Industrial Services' as a member of the Management Board.

In 2005 Dr. Norbert Klapper joined Voith Industrial Services, taking over the Business Division 'Automotive' until the end of 2010. Since 2011 he has been heading the Business Division Rail as Executive Vice President in the Group Division Voith Turbo.

Dr. Norbert Klapper has been an Executive Vice President at Voith Turbo since 2011, and he is in charge of the Business Division Rail.

Christian Nykiel

Member of the Board of Management Voith Turbo, in charge of the Business Division Road

Christian Nykiel has been a Member of the Management Board of the Group Division Voith Turbo since 2012 and he is responsible for the Business Division Road.

Christian Nykiel studied economics and served in several management positions at ABB from October 1989 and February 2004 moving on to become CEO of ABB Group Services Center GmbH. After a freelance work he joined Peguform GmbH in March 2006 to function as business unit manager until March 2011.

In May 2011 he joined Voith Turbo Aufladungssysteme GmbH & Co. KG in Gommern as managing director. Since September 2012 he has been heading the Business Division Road as Member of the Board of Management of the Group Division Voith Turbo.
