Dr. Uwe Knotzer

Uwe Knotzer (*1971) has been a member of the Management Board of Voith GmbH and Chairman of the Management Board of the Group Division Voith Turbo since October, 2015.

After studying process engineering Dr. Uwe Knotzer obtained a doctoral degree at the Institute of Paper, Pulp and Fiber Technology at Graz University of Technology in Austria. He started his career at Voith Paper in 2002 in St. Poelten in the Board and Packing division as leader of the Technology Service department. In 2004 he was appointed manager of the AMB business and in 2005 also manager of the CE application department in St. Poelten. From 2008 to 2013 he worked for Voith Paper in China, initially as Vice President Sales for the Rolls Division. One year later he changed to the Management Board of the Voith Paper FRS division in the function as Global Product Manager. 2011 to 2012 he was member of the Management Board of Voith Paper Asia in charge for Asian P&S business. 2012 to 2015 Dr. Uwe Knotzer was a Member of the Management Board of Voith Paper, and he is in charge of the Business Line Products and Services.

On October 13, 2015 Uwe Knotzer was appointed a member of the Corporate Board of Management and Chairman of the Management Board of Voith Turbo.

Dr. Frank Gropengiesser

Member of the Management Board of Voith Turbo,
in charge of the Business Division Rail

Dr. Frank Gropengiesser, who studied mathematics and economics at the University of Cologne and then earned his doctorate at the University of Kaiserslautern, began his career in 1991. Following positions at Phoenix AG and Vibracoustic GmbH & Co. KG, Dr. Gropengiesser joined Knorr-Bremse in 2003, where he last held the position of CEO of the European Rail Business Unit.

Since 15th October 2013 Dr. Frank Gropengiesser has been heading the Business Division Rail as Member of the Board of Management of the Group Division Voith Turbo.

Dr. Frank Gropengiesser has been a Member of the Management Board of Voith Turbo since October 2013, and he is responsible for the Business Division Rail.

Bodo Klein

Member of the Board of Management Voith Turbo,
in charge of the Business Division Commercial Vehicles

After his studies at Bielefeld University, the mechanical engineer started his career in the Truck division of Daimler AG. He joined WABCO in 1992, followed by a number of management roles in Engineering, Logistics and Key Account Management. Prior to joining Voith he has been a member of the Board of Management, responsible for the Business Unit Vehicle Dynamics and Control Systems.

Since 1st July 2014 Bodo Klein is in charge of the Business Division Commercial Vehicles as Member of the Board of Management of the Group Division Voith Turbo.

Matthias Lindemann

Member of the Management Board of Voith Turbo,
in charge of Finance, Controlling and Head of
BSO-Organization

After studying business management at Saarland University in Saarbrücken, the graduate economist started his professional career in the internal audits department of ABB in Baden, Switzerland. After an overseas appointment at ABB in Ireland he was entrusted with his first senior position at ABB Kraftwerke AG in Baden, Switzerland. From 1998 to 2002, Matthias Lindeman headed the internal audits department of ABB AG in Mannheim, responsible for Germany and Eastern Europe.

He then joined Voith Turbo in Heidenheim to take up a position as Commercial Manager of the Business Division Rail. In 2005 he took over as Commercial Manager of Voith Paper Fabrics. Since 2006, Matthias Lindemann has been a Member of the Management Board of Voith Turbo, where he is responsible for Finance, Controlling and the global Business Support Organization.

Matthias Lindemann has been a Board Member of Voith Turbo since 2006 and he is responsible for Finance, Controlling and Head of BSO-Organization.

Benno Morlock

Member of the Management Board of Voith Turbo,
in charge of the Business Division Mining & Metals.

Since April 2013, Benno Morlock has been a member of the Management Board of the Voith Turbo Group Division and has been responsible for the Business Division Mining & Metals since October 2013.

Benno Morlock studied Strategic Marketing, Industrial Management and Psychology at the University of Mannheim. Prior to his time with Voith, he worked for Kodak as Director of Distribution Partner Alliances in Europe. Whilst there he was involved initially with marketing planning, strategic corporate planning and project management. He also worked for several years in the USA as Product and Platform Manager. His final years at Kodak were characterized by sales-related assignments in Europe.

This business graduate with a master's degree in business administration came to Voith Turbo in 2008 and took over the leadership of the Startup Components Business Unit. Benno Morlock has been a member of the Management Board of the Voith Turbo Group Division since April 2013 and has been in charge of the Business Division Mining & Metals since October 2013.

Cornelius Weitzmann

Weitzmann

Cornelius Weitzmann has been a Member of the Management Board of Voith Turbo since 2015, and is responsible for the Business Division Power, Oil & Gas

Cornelius Weitzmann studied industrial engineering at Karlsruhe in Germany and Seville in Spain. He then worked as a project leader and member of the management for a well-known German management consultancy firm from 2002 onwards.

In 2007, Weitzmann moved to Voith, where he took up a management position in strategic planning. 2009, he became Managing director at Voith Paper Inc. in Appleton, USA and in 2011, he was appointed President of Fabric & Roll Systems EMEA.

Cornelius Weitzmann has been responsible for the Power, Oil & Gas business division since April 2015.
