Plan, conduct, and report on field testing assignments on turbines and generators at hydroelectric power plants

Plan, coordinate, and execute turbine, generator, and balance-of-plant (BOP) testing

Plan, coordinate, and execute start-up and commissioning of turbines and generators

Issue test reports for all types of turbine testing as well as start-up and commissioning reports

Provide cost estimates and technical support for customer proposals

Assist with hydraulic transient analysis & Operation, maintenance, storage and calibration of Votih Hydro's testing equipment

MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL DOMESTICALLY 25% - 50% OF THE TIME TO VARIOUS HYDRO ELECTRIC FACILITIES IN THE US

BS Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Computer Engineering or related field a must

Prior Internship, CO-OP, or other mechanical engineering experience with large rotating equipment preferred

Must possess effective technical writing and communication skills

Consistently demonstrate good working relationships with others (employees, customers, consultants, etc.) and work to schedules and deadlines

Ability to work independently and be self motivated
