Pulper detrashing from Voith proves a success in many stock preparation lines

Disposal of the various contaminants contained in recovered paper poses the greatest challenge to pulper detrashing machines, but the IntensaMaXX from Voith masters it easily. IntensaMaXX facilitates malfunction-free operation with the highest concentrations of contaminants. IntensaMaXX was able to demonstrate this extraordinary capacity in many stock preparation lines. Paper manufacturers worldwide are convinced – already more than 30 units have been sold.
Voith’s pulper detrashing machine IntensaMaXX: already more than 30 units sold
“In May 2013 we put the first IntensaMaXX detrashing machine into operation,” says Dr. Marietta Jass-Teichmann, CEO of Papierfabrik Adolf Jass GmbH & Co. KG in Fulda, Germany. “Since then it has been running to our complete satisfaction. The capacity is extraordinarily good. For that reason we have also been using a second IntensaMaXX for disposal since the beginning of August.”

An excentric and asymmetrical enclosure prevents spinning and every type of tail formation in the IntensaMaXX so that even a very high contaminant content does not cause problems during operation. As the contaminant discharge is oriented downward it facilitates reliable removal of heavy contaminants such as screws and stones. The rotor and screen plate are attached to the top of the machine, to minimize wear.

IntensaMaXX works in an extremely reliable fashion with high throughput and a low maintenance outlay. Along with the high level of operational reliability, other costs can be reduced since substantially less energy is consumed than with the use of other detrashing machines. The investment in the machine is amortized in noticeably less than a year.

IntensaMaxx is part of the BlueLine from Voith. BlueLine is an innovative product line for stock preparation which, thanks to the most modern technology, keeps energy, water and fiber consumption as low as possible.
