As part of its strategy to secure its future position by concentrating on producing high quality paper and its marketing, Spanish manufacturer of recycled paper Alier S.A. has contracted Voith to take over the complete maintenance of its stock preparation, paper machines, finishing and water treatment facilities at its Rosselló site, Spain, for a minimum of five years.

This performance-based resident maintenance contract includes beside the daily maintenance operations also the implementation of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) that provides continuously the necessary information for preventive maintenance, shutdown management and material functions.

By this cooperation Alier S.A. benefits also from Voith Paper’s process and technology know-how and the pool of worldwide available process and service specialists for recycled fibers and papermaking. Alier S.A. expects from this collaboration an increased machines availability and an improvement of the efficiency of the whole papermaking process.
