Christian Geißler has become a new member of the Board of Management at Voith Industrial Services Holding GmbH & Co. KG. As CFO he will be responsible for Finance and Controlling.

As CFO he will be responsible for Finance and Controlling. The 42-year old followed last May Dr. Hubert Lachenmayer who joined Voith GmbH in order to support the sale of Voith’s industrial services branch. “I‘m looking forward to assume new responsibilities and to support Voith Industrial Services’ growth course,” says Geißler.

After finishing his studies at the Mannheim University with a focus on internal and external accounting, the Business Graduate started his career at Pfleiderer Dämmstofftechnik International GmbH in Neumarkt. There, he initially became Investment Controller, then Head of Controlling Eastern Europe. From 2003 to 2006 Christian Geißler was responsible for the Business Unit Central West (DACH) as Authorized Signatory and CFO at the insulation material manufacturer, URSA Deutschland GmbH, in Leipzig. There, he developed the commercial department after a merger and the relocation of the company’s headquarters.

In 2007, Mr. Geißler joined the Voith Group. As CFO at Voith Hydro in Canada, Christian Geißler was initially responsible for the development of the commercial organization there. From 2011 to 2013, Mr. Geißler worked as CFO for Voith Hydro at its production site in the USA. In April 2013, he became CFO for the Automotive Division at Voith Industrial Services, a role that he will continue to hold.
