Voith to increase paper machine clothing prices in North America

APPLETON, Wis. (Jan. 24, 2019)
Voith announces it will increase prices on paper machine clothing in North America by 3 percent effective February 1, 2019. All orders placed before January 31, 2019 will be invoiced at the current pricing. This price adjustment is driven by notable increases in key raw material costs, combined with global inflationary factors in labor and freight.

“Voith has successfully remained competitive over the last decade, despite the challenging market environment and the negative price developments for paper machine clothing,”” said Richard Berry, Senior Vice President Sales, Voith Paper Fabric & Roll Systems, North America. “We are continuing to take steps to optimize our cost structure and implement significant and successful measures to increase efficiency at all of our production sites. With a more balanced market now in place, Voith can ensure the ongoing focus remains on the customer; the development of innovative products and solutions; service expertise and support; and ongoing improvement so we continue to deliver the value that our customers expect.”
