Voith connection couplings transmit torque, backlash-free in a friction joint. They transfer the most torque in relation to size, which adds high performance and allows for more effective dimensioning of the driveline. HyCon for outstanding performance
HyCon is a typical application in the marine and heavy industries. It ensures a reliable low-weight friction connection with outstanding performance and torque capacity. HyCon is easily installed without oil leakage and is safe both for people and environment.

High friction coating doubles the torque capacity
Our surface treatment gives HyCon, HyGrip and HyLoc the most compact and effective connection coupling available on the market.
A thin fatigue- and wear-resistant layer of tungsten carbide coating can be applied onto the inner surface of the coupling. The high friction coating (HFC) strengthens the bond between the shaft and sleeve, which more than doubles the torque capacity.
HFC is standard on all HyCon and optional on HyGrip and HyLoc.
