What work should be performed during a vehicle retrofit?
Checking, cleaning and replacing the components of the compressed air generation and preparation system; refer to the retrofit instructions for detailed information.
Why do certain parts have to be replaced during the retrofit?
Due to contamination and damage to the compressed air generation and preparation system that can negatively impact the operational behavior of the Voith compressor after the retrofit.
How does the Voith SLS work and is there an explanation for noises?
The Voith SLS is an idling system that switches the first compression stage to zero pressure when the air compressor is in non-conveyance mode. An external signal is not required for this. SLS switching is oriented to the pressure level in the pressure line. The function of the SLS generates a clocked mechanical noise in the non-conveyance mode.
