Stock preparation
Voith is a pioneer in the preparation of recovered paper; it developed this technology decades ago and thus made production of recycled paper possible in the first place. Since then, Voith engineers have been continually improving and refining the processes, so that today we can provide technology to produce even high-quality paper grades from recovered paper.
Regardless of whether the paper is produced from fresh or recycled fibers, it is as early as in stock preparation that we can have a decisive influence on the paper quality and runability of the paper machine. And our products achieve another big advantage: We reduce consumption of fibers, energy and fresh water – and thus their costs.
