Voith Paper Board of Management

Andreas Endters

    Chairman Voith Paper
     

    After completing his degree in business administration and engineering, Andreas Endters started his career early in 1991 in paper machine sales at Sulzer Escher Wyss in Ravensburg. At the end of 1993 he moved to Manchester, England to take up a position at Sulzer Papertec. Following the merger of the paper divisions of Voith and Sulzer, Andreas Endters joined Voith Paper in Heidenheim in mid-1995 as Head of Sales and Marketing for “QualiFlex Press Sleeves.”

    In 2000, he was appointed Executive Vice President at Voith Paper in Ravensburg; one year later, he became Chairman of the Board of Management. Two years later, in 2004, Andreas Endters was appointed to the Management Board of the Group Division Voith Paper and put in charge of the Business Division Rolls. In 2008, he moved to the Management Board of the Group Division Voith Hydro, where he was responsible for the worldwide contract handling of Large Hydro. At the end of 2011, he returned to Voith Paper as a Member of the Group Division Management, initially in charge of paper machines. Since October 2012 he has been responsible for the Business Line Projects.

    Since October 1, 2017, Andreas Endters has been a member of the Corporate Board of Management of Voith GmbH & Co. KGaA and chairman of the Management Board of Voith Paper.

    Thomas Holzer

      Business Line Projects
       

      Thomas Holzer studied Papermaking, International Business and International Marketing in Munich and Reutlingen in Germany and in Ypsilanti, Michigan in the United States of America. He joined Voith Paper in 1999 and held various positions in Europe and Asia. Then in January 2011, Thomas Holzer took over the COO function for Voith Paper Fabric & Roll Systems in Asia.

      Three years later in April 2014 he became Regional President for Voith Paper in Asia and Regional President Projects Voith Paper Asia. In October 2017, Thomas Holzer was appointed as Member of the Management Board of Voith Paper and has been in charge of the Business Line Projects.

      Egon Kraetschmer

        Finance and Controlling
         

        Egon Kraetschmer joined Voith in 1976 as part of his studies in business administration at the University of Cooperative Education in Heidenheim. Since 1980, he has worked in finance and accounting management positions in various Voith companies. In 2000, Egon Kraetschmer became a Member of the Management Board of Voith Paper Heidenheim and in 2003 at Voith Siemens Kraftwerkstechnik Heidenheim.

        From 2005, Egon Kraetschmer worked as Chief Financial Officer at Voith Siemens Hydro, until he took the helm at the Group department ‘Corporate Controlling, Balances and Participations’ at Voith. Since July 2014, he has served as the Chief Financial Officer in the Voith Paper Division Management Board.

        Benno Morlock

          Business Line Fabric & Roll Systems
           

          Benno Morlock studied Strategic Marketing, Industrial Management and Psychology at the University of Mannheim. Prior to his time with Voith, he worked for Kodak as Director of Distribution Partner Alliances in Europe. Whilst there he was involved initially with marketing planning, strategic corporate planning and project management. He also worked for several years in the USA as Product and Platform Manager. His final years at Kodak were characterized by sales-related assignments in Europe.

          The business graduate with a master's degree in business administration came to Voith Turbo in 2008 and took over the leadership of the Startup Components Business Unit. Benno Morlock joined the Management Board of the Voith Turbo Group Division in April 2013 and was in charge of the Division Mining & Metals as of October 2013. From June 2016 to April 2018 he was in charge of the Division Industry.

          Since May 1, 2018, Benno Morlock has been a member of the Management Board of Voith Paper and has been in charge of the Business Line Fabric & Roll Systems.

          Frank Opletal

            Chief Technology Officer
             

            After an apprenticeship as a papermaker and studying process engineering and papermaking he began his career in 1984 as a start-up and commissioning engineer at the Sulzer Group in Ravensburg, Germany. From 1992 Frank Opletal held various sales management positions in Hong Kong, Bangkok and Beijing.

            In 2001, he took on overall responsibility for commissioning and project management at Voith Paper in Heidenheim. Then in 2005, he joined Voith Paper Fabrics in Ipoh, Malaysia, as Operations Manager and was subsequently appointed Vice President Operations for the Asia Pacific region. Following the amalgamation of the Fabrics and Rolls Divisions in 2009 he managed the merger of the sales group. Since 2011, Frank Opletal has been a member of the Management Board of Voith Paper Fabric and Roll Systems. Since April 2014, he has also been a member of the Management Board of the Group Division Voith Paper in Heidenheim, in charge of Technology.

            Dr. Dieter Wenninger 

              Business Line Products & Services
               

              Dr. Wenninger studied chemistry at the University of Ulm, where he also earned the degree of Dr. rer. nat. After working as a development chemist with Beiersdorf in Hamburg and holding a post in Singapore, he became Vice President Research & Development (2006 to 2008) and from 2009 to 2010 Senior Vice President Technology / Research & Development at Voith Paper Fabrics and Rolls. In 2011 he was appointed Executive Vice President for VPIT (Voith IHI) and in addition, from April 2014 he has been President P&S Asia in charge of the P&S Business in Asia.

              Since October 13, 2015 Dieter Wenninger has been a Member of the Management Board of Voith Paper, and he is in charge of the Business Line Products and Services.
