Dr. Tobias Keitel

    Dr. Tobias Keitel
     

    After studying industrial engineering followed by a doctorate at the Technical University of Berlin and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at École Supérieure de Commerce in Paris, Dr. Tobias Keitel worked for The Boston Consulting Group and MAN AG.

    Dr. Keitel joined Voith Hydro in 2010 as project manager. Since 2011 he held various management positions and became head of the Business Unit Large Hydro New in 2014.

    In 2016, Dr. Keitel became a Member of the Management Board of Voith Hydro. In this function he was in charge of Operations, Project Management, Sales and Service.

    Since November 1, 2022, he serves as Member of the Corporate Board of Management of Voith and as President & CEO of Voith Hydro.

    Markus Mader

      Chief Financial Officer
       

      After studying Industrial Engineering at the Universities of Ulm and Neu-Ulm in Germany, Markus Mader started working for Voith Turbo in 1999, where he held several functions in the areas of Finance and Controlling.

      In 2003, he joined the Bus Drives unit as Commercial Director before he additionally assumed the responsibility for Purchasing, Suppliers Quality and Value Analysis, in 2008, as Vice President Supply Chain Management and Controlling.

      In 2011, Markus Mader joined Voith Paper to take on the position as CFO of the Global Consumables Business “Fabrics and Rolls Systems”. From 2014, he switched to the Capital Equipment business line at Voith Paper, where he assumed the role of CFO for the global paper machine business.

      In 2018, Markus Mader joined Voith Hydro as a Member of the Management Board, where he is responsible for Finance, Controlling and Human Resources.

      Dr. Norbert Riedel

        After completing his degree in aerospace engineering at Technische Universität München (TUM) Dr. Norbert Riedel worked as a research assistant at the TUM's Institute of Hydraulic Machinery and Plants. He received his doctorate degree from the TU München in 1997.

        In 1998, he joined Voith Hydro as a development engineer and held various positions in the Corporate Technology division. In 2003, he became head of Group Division IT and went on to become Chief Information Officer.

        From 2006 onwards, Dr. Riedel worked in the USA as a Chief Engineer at Voith Hydro York, where he was responsible for the engineering of generators, turbines, automation and plant projects for the new system and modernisation business.

        In 2011, Dr. Riedel became President and Managing Director of the international Voith Hydro Engineering Center (VHEC). He has been in charge of the Central Technology division since 2013.

        Michael Rendsburg

          After completing his degree in mechatronics at the University of Stuttgart and at the Massey University in New Zealand, Michael Rendsburg held various positions in R&D, supply chain management and manufacturing in the automotive industry and worked for an international strategy consultancy focusing on sustainability, restructuring and lean management.

          Since joining the Voith Group in 2014, Michael Rendsburg has held various positions at Voith Paper. Until 2015, he was Manager Strategic Planning in the Executive Board of Voith Paper. After that he held the position of Chief Operating Officer at the Business Line FRS and in 2021, he became President Projects EMEA.

          Mr. Rendsburg has been a member of the Management Board of Voith Hydro since 2022. In his role, he is responsible for Operations, Supply Chain and Service.

          Andreas Wellmann

            After studying business administration in Bradford, Berlin and New York, Andreas Wellmann held various management positions in the field of EPC contracting related to the petrochemical and energy sector, as well as the civil construction industry on an international level.

            In 2017, Andreas Wellmann joined Voith Hydro in Chile as Head of Service. Following that he took over responsibility for the entire region as CEO Voith Hydro South America, based in São Paulo.

            In May 2023, Mr. Wellmann moved to the headquarters in Heidenheim to take over the CEO responsibility in the EMEA region. In addition to his reginal CEO position, he has been part of the Voith Hydro Management Board as President Projects since March 2024. In this role, he is responsible for the Group Division's major projects worldwide, including project management, field service and scheduling.
