How the VoreconNX works
The VoreconNX is located in the driveline between the drive motor and the driven machine. The input shaft is connected to the planet carrier of the planetary gear. A large proportion of the input power is transmitted to the planetary gear mechanically, which means it is delivered almost loss-free.
In front of the planetary gear, a torque converter with adjustable guide vanes is found. The torque converter pump wheel is coupled with the input shaft and diverts a small amount of input power. The diverted power is transferred to the planetary sun gear using the turbine wheel. Adjustable pump blades control the turbine wheel liquid flow together with speed. Combined power from the planet carrier and sun gear flows through the planetary gear and is transmitted to the output gear stage.

The RWE combines a torque converter, a planetary gear and a parallel shaft gear. The hydrodynamic power splitting principle allows for a partially unloaded motor start relieving the electrical grid at site. In combination with an induction motor as driver the RWE is the right solution.
By using an electrical start-up device, a fully unloaded motor start can be achieved. Typically, the RWC is the right selection in combination with synchronous motors and/or special requirements from the electrical grid.
