Leadership programs: Inspire and be inspired
With digitization transforming our organization, business models and corporate culture, employees look to managers and executives to help them cope with change in increasingly agile and cross-disciplinary work environments. The Voith Leadership Programs enable executives and both first-time and experienced managers to tackle the paradigm shift in leadership and excel in their new role as enablers, ambassadors and drivers of change.
This modular leadership program is compulsory for all first-time managers at Voith. It introduces leadership tools and principles and promotes self-awareness. Participants familiarize themselves with potential and performance management, as well as change management. Additionally the Leadership Forum can be attended where our employees learn with each other and from each other, exchange and share experiences, discuss and develop ideas, solutions and action plans.
Promoting creativity, cooperation and dialog, as well as joint learning and reflection, this modular program caters to experienced managers. Based on the Barcamp-method, this program has a holistic and collaborative approach to challenges in Leading Yourself, Leading People and Leading Business. They help leaders transition into design thinking and helps them to address the needs of employees that arise from both the agile shift and new business models.
The Voith Academy is the central Management Development tool for leaders at the Top Management level. Members of the Corporate Board of Management or specialists present value-oriented and business policy topics to a small group of participants. Due to the cross group-divisional and regional setup, the participants have the chance to exchange their experiences and expertise as well as to expand their professional networks on high level.
Voith places great emphasis on people development. Mentoring and coaching lie at the very heart of our talent management activities. Not only the digital transformation requires people to cultivate new engineering, design and business skills – as well as the crucial ability to collaborate. Both mentoring and coaching foster a culture of growth and development at Voith that benefits all levels.
