Jan Lüder
Member of the Corporate Board of Management, President & CEO Group Division Hydro
Jan Lüder holds a degree in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Berlin (Germany).
From 1995 to 2015, he worked for Siemens AG for almost 20 years in the Metals Technologies, Industrial Solutions and Power Generation divisions with international management functions in Asia and Europe.
Between 2015 and 2022, Jan Lüder held management positions at thyssenkrupp, including CEO of the Mining Technologies division and previously CEO Industrial Solutions Asia Pacific and CEO Asia Pacific, based in Singapore.
Subsequently, Jan Lüder assumed responsibility as Division President Flow and member of the Executive Committee of Sulzer AG in Switzerland.
Since April 1, 2025, he serves as Member of the Corporate Board of Management of Voith and as President & CEO of Voith Hydro.
Dr. Norbert Riedel
Chief Technology Officer
After completing his degree in aerospace engineering at Technische Universität München (TUM) Dr. Norbert Riedel worked as a research assistant at the TUM's Institute of Hydraulic Machinery and Plants. He received his doctorate degree from the TU München in 1997.
In 1998, he joined Voith Hydro as a development engineer and held various positions in the Corporate Technology division. In 2003, he became head of Group Division IT and went on to become Chief Information Officer.
From 2006 onwards, Dr. Riedel worked in the USA as a Chief Engineer at Voith Hydro York, where he was responsible for the engineering of generators, turbines, automation and plant projects for the new system and modernisation business.
In 2011, Dr. Riedel became President and Managing Director of the international Voith Hydro Engineering Center (VHEC). He has been in charge of the Central Technology division since 2013.
Sunil Pandiri
Chief Service Officer
After completing his mechanical engineering studies Bhaskara Sunil Kumar Pandiri (Sunil Pandiri) started his career in 2004 as a project manager at Jindal Steel & Power Ltd in India.
In 2006, he joined Siemens and in the following years held various positions in international sales, product management, strategy, operations and general management. Between 2017 and 2019 he was responsible for the global service business for steam turbines. From 2020 to 2022, he was CEO of the Siemens portfolio company Sykatec GmbH. Following that, he held the position of CEO Region North Europe & Middle East at Siemens Gamesa.
Sunil Pandiri holds an MBA degree from IESE Business School (Spain), a digital diploma from IMD (Switzerland) and completed a Harvard General Management Program (USA).
He joined Voith Hydro as a Member of the Management Board in 2024 where he is responsible for the global Service business.
Andreas Wellmann
President Projects
After studying business administration in Bradford, Berlin and New York, Andreas Wellmann held various management positions in the field of EPC contracting related to the petrochemical and energy sector, as well as the civil construction industry on an international level.
In 2017, Andreas Wellmann joined Voith Hydro in Chile as Head of Service. Following that he took over responsibility for the entire region as CEO Voith Hydro South America, based in São Paulo.
In May 2023, Mr. Wellmann moved to the headquarters in Heidenheim to take over the CEO responsibility in the EMEA region. In addition to his reginal CEO position, he has been part of the Voith Hydro Management Board as President Projects since March 2024. In this role, he is responsible for the Group Division's major projects worldwide, including project management, field service and scheduling.
