Voith Paper Walztechnik AG expands collaboration with Guarneri Technology S.r.l and Elmatex GmbH
- Global engineering and sales collaboration for industrial applications of Nipco™ rolls and calendering systems
- Integrated technology use in various fields such as technical textiles, nonwovens and thermo-bonding
- Combination of the worldwide service network improves regional support

For this reason, Voith Paper Walztechnik AG is further expanding its cooperation with Guarneri Technology worldwide.
In 2018, Voith took over the sales activities for Guarneri Technology in the German-speaking area. With Elmatex we have gained a renowned distribution partner with many years of expertise in the Textile, Technical Textile and Nonwovens industry.
All calender projects in this region are handled by Voith Paper Walztechnik AG in Zurich. The coordination of technology and the bundling of purchasing synergies for rollers by the Voith Group enable optimized and high-quality production of the components within Europe.
"Many years of successful cooperation with Guarneri Technology and the access by Elmatex to the German-speaking textile market have moved us to this step. With the experience of a well-known Italian calender builder, Elmatex's established market references and the combination with our
Nipco™ roller systems, we have achieved a partnership whose benefits our customers already over the past year. Several sold calender systems with Nipco™ rollers are the result of this cooperation." explains Harald Gruber, Managing Director of Voith Paper Walztechnik AG.
In addition, the worldwide cooperation between Voith Paper Walztechnik and Guarneri Technology will be further expanded. The ever increasing demand for reliable calendering systems with optimal process control shows that the flexibility of Nipco™ rolls is a prerequisite for high reproducibility in the calendering process in these markets.
The worldwide network of the service locations of the Voith Group also enables local support for the Nipco™ roller systems supplied.
With a view to further expanding this partnership, Elmatex, Guarneri Technology and Voith Paper Walztechnik AG will co-operate at various trade fairs in 2019.
At Techtextil in May 2019 in Frankfurt, Germany (Hall 3.0, Booth D05), Voith Paper Walztechnik AG and Guarneri Technology be represented at the joint stand of Elmatex.
The highlight this year is the joint participation in the ITMA in Barcelona, Spain in June 2019 (Hall 2, Stand 211).
The latest developments of Guarneri Technology calendering systems and an enhanced version of the precise Voith Nipco™ roller with AirHybrid™ Technology for low line load applications in dyeing padder and other applications are presented.
