Voith carries out pulper retrofit at Cartonifício Valinhos
- Pulper retrofit improved customer’s paper quality
- Customer stands out for its production based entirely on recovered paper and board
- Voith provides solutions for all types of machines

Pulping systems operate based on important underlying parameters such as consistency, temperature, mechanical stress and residence time, among others, which are necessary to ensure appropriate operating parameters for subsequent processes.
The production line of Cartonifício Valinhos stands out for using 100% recovered paper and board as raw material. The retrofit led to improved paper quality and a 10% higher processing capacity, since the equipment is now available 24 hours a day, nonstop. Before the retrofit, the pulper encountered continuous disruptions caused by contaminant build-up.
As a technological partner to the world's leading paper manufacturers, Voith offers solutions for all machines types and is unique in the industry for its expert teams that deliver tailor-made designs to fulfill different customer needs.
From equipment exchanges to comprehensive retrofits and rebuilds, Voith’s team creates and plans customized solutions to meet its customers’ specific needs.
