Learn about the latest hydropower trends at the Voith Hydro Training Workshop
- The three-day event is set for Nov. 5 to 7 in York, Pennsylvania, and is open to all owners and operators of hydroelectric equipment
- Attendees will have an opportunity to visit Voith’s manufacturing facility and meet with Voith experts
The workshop’s highlights include tours of the manufacturing workshop and hydraulic lab at Voith’s facility and multiple sessions on a variety of topics including trends in the design of hydro generators and turbines and modernization opportunities within the industry.
Each morning of the workshop will include a special address by key industry representatives, and attendees can expect keynotes to offer an overview of the hydro industry in North America with an emphasis on the development of new technologies.
The workshop will take place at the Wyndham Garden York, 2000 Loucks Road, York PA 17408, and aims to bridge the gap of knowledge between technical personnel and operators. Sessions will be led by Voith’s hydropower and digitalization experts, and attendees will also have numerous networking opportunities.
