WEST MONROE, La. (Jan. 13, 2021) – Voith Paper, a manufacturer with a facility located in West Monroe, Louisiana, has announced a $3,000 donation to help pay for the cleanup of Kiroli Park. Voith Paper’s donation to the Kiroli Foundation will support the cleanup of damage caused by Hurricane Laura, a Category 1 hurricane that left a path of damage throughout Kiroli Park in West Monroe, Louisiana.

“As a local company and as members of this community, we are proud to help the city with the financial burden of cleaning up the park,” said Ronnie Hines, Senior Manager of Operations West Monroe, Voith Paper. “Voith uses the park for its annual picnic and our employees enjoy the park throughout the year, making this donation a natural fit.”

Voith’s West Monroe facility manufactures and services products for the paper production industry and employs a little under 100 people at the West Monroe facility.

The donation check was presented in late December and was accepted by West Monroe Mayor, Staci Mitchell and City of West Monroe Parks and Recreation Director, Stuart Hodnett.
