Changes in the Corporate Board of Management of the Voith Group
- Cornelius Weitzmann to succeed Dr. Uwe Knotzer as President & CEO Group Division Voith Turbo and Member of the Corporate Board of Management of the Voith Group

We wish him all the best in the future and continued success also in his new role,” said Prof. Siegfried Russwurm, Chairman of the Shareholders' Committee and Supervisory Board of Voith. “At the same time, we are delighted to appoint Cornelius Weitzmann, an experienced Voith manager who knows the Turbo business very well, to the Corporate Board of Management as he leads the Group Division into the future.”
Cornelius Weitzmann joined Voith in 2007. Since 2009, he served as managing director of Voith Paper in Appleton, Wisconsin, U.S. In 2011, he was named President Fabric & Roll Systems (FRS) EMEA. Since April 2015, Cornelius Weitzmann has been a Member of the Board of Management of Voith Turbo, responsible for the Power, Oil & Gas Division, before he took over the management of the Mobility Division in June 2016.
Cornelius Weitzmann studied industrial engineering in Karlsruhe and Seville. Afterwards he worked for a German management consultancy from 2002.
Dr. Uwe Knotzer began his career at Voith in 2002 in the Paper Group Division in St. Pölten, Austria in management positions in service and sales. From 2008 to 2013, he worked for the Voith Paper Divisions Fabric & Roll Systems (FRS) and Products & Services (P&S) in China. From 2012 to 2015, Dr. Knotzer took over the P&S Division in the Board of Management of Voith Paper, before joining the Corporate Board of Management of the Voith Group in 2015 as President & CEO for the Group Division Turbo.
