Voith mourns the passing of Hans Müller
Hans Müller accompanied and shaped the paper industry for over 40 years. From 1995 to 2005, he was a member of the Voith Corporate Board of Management and was responsible for the Group Division Voith Paper and, from 2000, also for the former Group Division Voith Fabrics.
Under his leadership, the companies Sulzer Escher Wyss and Voith were successfully merged in the field of paper technology. After Voith took over the paper machine clothing business from Scapa in 1999, Hans Müller also became CEO of the newly founded Group Division Voith Fabrics. Further acquisitions such as Jagenberg and Finckh followed.

Hans Müller's strategic goal was always to be able to offer customers the complete papermaking process from one source. Important milestones were achieved under his chairmanship. The needs and requirements of customers and employees were always at the center of his actions.
