Voith to make multi-million-dollar investment in West Monroe roll service center
- In response to increased customer demand in the mechanical roll service and roll cover business, Voith Paper facility to be expanded by almost 50 percent
- Expansion will enable faster service to customers
- Facility will remain fully operational during construction
- Project expected to support regional economic growth with increase in operational capacity and additional manufacturing jobs
The Voith Paper facility first opened in 1991 and is the leading roll service center in North America. The expansion will add needed workspace for continued growth in addition to adding jobs to support the local West Monroe economy. The project will result in a faster and more seamless service experience, expand capacity and enhance logistics processes. The increased space will also provide additional training areas for employees.
The expansion is expected to begin in mid-2025 and will continue throughout the year. The facility will remain fully operational during this time. In addition to benefiting customers, this project is expected to positively impact regional economic growth.
