Changes to the Voith Shareholders’ Committee
- Tom Blades, CEO of Bilfinger, and Manfred Grundke, Managing Partner of the Knauf Group, will be appointed to the Voith Shareholders’ Committee
- Ton Büchner, member of the Shareholders’ Committee since 2014, will leave the committee in December
Tom Blades, born in 1956, has been CEO of Bilfinger SE since 2016. The Briton, who was born in Germany, studied electrical engineering in UK and France. He began his career in 1978 at Schlumberger. After taking up several professional assignments internationally, he moved to Siemens in 2009, where he assumed the role of CEO, Energy Sector, Oil & Gas Division. From 2012 until his move to Bilfinger, he was a member of the Executive Board of Linde AG.
Manfred Grundke, born in 1955, assumed the role of Managing Partner of Gebr. Knauf Verwaltungsgesellschaft KG in 2008. The qualified mechanical engineer began his career at the German Federal Office for Defense Technology in Koblenz, before moving to Feinmechanische Werke in Mainz. After taking on a number of other roles, Grundke joined Mannesmann Rexroth AG in 1997, where he was engaged in various functions over the years as a member of the Executive Board and CEO, before moving to Knauf.
