Be it out at sea or in port, on rivers or lakes – vessels with Voith propulsion systems make maneuvering more precise, safer and faster. Other criteria such as the comfort on board and the level of underwater noise emissions are becoming more and more important characteristics of the vessel. Besides the Voith Schneider Propeller (VSP), Voith has developed the Inline Thruster (VIT) and the Voith Linear Jet (VLJ).Voith marine products are unique and open new possibilities to operate vessels safer, longer and more comfortable.The VSP is well known in the market for precise and stepless control of thrust in any direction. The VIT is a compact and silent RIM drive that can be used as a bow-, stem-, or retractable thruster. The VLJ is an efficient and silent propulsion for fast vessels between 20 and 40 kn.

Compressors
Driving economically while protecting the environment.
Components such as the air compressor contribute significantly to this. Voith supplies the two-stage air compressor with intermediate cooling. This results in less energy consumption during pressure build-up. A special system ensures lower energy consumption when the system is under pressure.
For both Truck and Bus we supply two-stage air compressors for various OEMs, such as Mercedes, Evobus, MAN and Volvo.
