Voith can offer you a concept for ETCS retrofitting that is individually tailored to the requirements of your vehicles. You decide whether to transfer your vehicle to our Voith Service Center in Kiel during scheduled maintenance or as part of a general inspection, or whether we should carry out the desired conversion on your premises.

Phase 1 - Pre-study
- Evaluate existing vehicle documents
- On-site vehicle inspection with measurement and 3D scan
- Define the current status as a baseline for engineering
Phase 2 - Development of an integration concept
- Preliminary determination of the installation space
- Creation of an integration concept
- Drawing up detailed concepts for various specialist areas (e.g. fire protection, EMC, ...)
Phase 3 - System integration & engineering
- Engineering (electrical/mechanical)
- Finalization of the detailed concepts
- Verification and validation according to the client's specifications
Phase 4 - Prototype conversion (optional)
- FoC installation at the Voith plant or in a customer workshop
- Supporting the customer during tests or commissioning
