The degree at SIBE begins every two months. At DHBW CAS, you can start your dual master’s degree at the beginning of each summer and winter term.
How much of the tuition does Voith cover?
Voith covers all tuition fees as well as the monthly excess. In addition, we cover travel expenses for in-person seminars. We also cover the cost of optional, international excursions and trips to study abroad.
How do I combine my dual master’s degree with my work at Voith?
Throughout the entire duration of your studies, your project is prioritized. Seminars are integrated into your work schedule and take place throughout the entire year. The seminars are scheduled approximately every six weeks, at the end of the week, and exclusively on working days (which may include Saturdays).
Do seminars and lectures count towards my working hours?
Voith will release you for all university seminars and events that take place on a workday. Thus, you’ll accrue no time deficit. Seminars that take place on a Saturday, don’t count towards your working hours.
How do I connect with other dual master’s students?
Our dual master’s students are well-connected. You’ll already get to know each other during the onboarding process. Beyond that, there will be round tables, shared lunch breaks, and inter-departmental exchanges.
Am I obliged to stay at Voith after I’ve completed my studies?
No, you’re not obliged to stay at our company after your degree. The contract is limited to two years and there’s no contractual obligation to stay at Voith beyond that. However, most of our dual students want to stay with us and are taken over.
What’s the type of employment during my studies?
While you study, you’ll receive a trainee contract limited to two years. The contract is exclusively for your dual master’s degree with us.
