The Voith Field Service offers you enormous professional and personal potential for development . You work all over the world as an installation supervisor, construction manager, commissioning engineer, or Field Service project manager. Your tasks are challenging but at the same time exciting: You are responsible for the maximum availability of all Voith components– from site preparation, to installation and commissioning, to maintenance and modernization.

What professional fields are there in the Voith Field Service?
In the Voith Field Service, there are three core functions:
1. Installation supervision/Site management:
As a site manager or installation supervisor, you conduct and/or head the installation of our plants’ electromechanical equipment. You are responsible for observing time schedules as well as safety and quality requirements. You set up construction sites and are in charge of allocating personnel and equipment. In addition, you supervise the installation teams and sub-contractors and function as a liaison for our customers and other parties on site.
2. Commissioning:
Your responsibilities include implementing and leading the commissioning of hydro power turbines, generators, automation, and auxiliary plants. This includes troubleshooting, optimization, and documentation during the commissioning process. In addition, you ensure that deadlines and quality standards are met, hand over completed systems, and train the customer's personnel. You will also provide technical project and engineering support at our Heidenheim backoffice.
3. Field Service project lead:
As a Field Service project lead, you’re responsible for planning and coordinating the construction site in terms of sub-contractor, HSE, quality, scheduling, cost, and budget. You provide solutions for all technical and organizational questions at the site. Together with the engineering team, you work to improve design of the equipment and reduce potential risks during installation and commissioning.

- Depending on the position, you have completed vocational training in the field of mechanics, electrics, or mechatronics , you have a technician or a master craftsman qualification , or you have studied mechatronics, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering.
- You’re flexible, resilient, and communicative.
- You have a good command of English.
- You’re assertive and a team player.
- You like to travel.
