DIWA NXT: Drive efficiency
for the new bus generation
Since 2022, Voith has been equipping city and intercity buses with the latest generation of its legendary DIWA automatic transmission system: DIWA NXT. With its mild hybrid system, the technology group is closing the gap between diesel-only systems and other alternative drive technologies. Hanauer Straßenbahn GmbH (HSB) was one of the first companies to use vehicles equipped with DIWA NXT on its regular routes. A total of 16 solo and articulated buses have been on the streets of the Brothers Grimm City since the end of 2022.
