Voith Turbo presents Aalen University with a Gauge-Change Transmission
Since the end of 2013, Aalen University has a new display item. The new exhibit is a gauge-change transmission, which has been handed over to the University by Voith Turbo. The item is on show in the foyer of the main building and thus on permanent display for all students to see.

Prof. Kley, Dean of General Mechanical Engineering Studies at Aalen University, is particularly pleased about the model: "The gauge-change transmission from Voith is a very attractive object of study for Aalen University. In the foyer of our main building, it comes well into its own, and it is of great interest
for both engineering and economic science students.
The students are equally fascinated by the gauge-change transmission: "It's great to see this large gauge-change transmission in its real size. Compared with pictures and the fairly small exhibits shown in our lectures, it provides a real feel for "proper" mechanical engineering." (Fabian Gäckle, Student at HS Aalen).
The display item will receive a special sign on which the students can inform themselves about the technical details and the operation of this gauge-change transmission.
The campaign is a good example of how Voith can arouse the curiosity of the students beyond short-term and actionist higher education marketing.
